3D Nude Art photography

A topless woman with shoulder-length, tousled hair sitting on a light-colored sofa. She has a tattoo of a dinosaur on her including the words 'TALK OR'. Sunlight falls across her chest.

THIS…is a 3d image

I know these just look like two identical nudes, but don’t be deceived. They have been shot from two slightly different points of view, simulating the distance between human eyes. And if you cross your vision so that the two images overlap (I am very good at this, I have been playing with repeated patterns on wallpapers since I was a kid) you will see the third dimension appear. And the effect is already interesting in my opinion, even if this is the most crude way of visualizing 3d images, and these samples are in low resolution. But if you have access to the full resolution files and you view them the way they’re supposed to, your jaw will drop to the floor. That’s what happened to me when I viewed my 3d works for the first time with a virtual reality headset. I know there’s 3d cameras out there, and I am not the first person to shoot 3d images, but I am pretty sure very few photographers on the planet do it my way. Which is a real pain in the ass because I do everything by hand and I DO NOT use a 3d camera. This allows me to have a much higher resolution and to get way closer to the model than it’s normally possible with 3d equipment.
